DeLisa: Journal

As you guys know, I am working on my second album which is tentatively titled "The Perfect Love Story". I want this album to explain the ups and downs and the ins and outs of love. Everyone will relate to at least of these songs ans will feel as though I'm speaking about your very situation. I have uploaded the first single from the album mainly because I want you guys to know what's to come. Please keep in mind that this song is almost complete, but I wanted to share with you one of my love stories. I hope that you enjoy the song and will leave me some feedback on it. The title of the song is called "When It Rains". The music was created by Norman Ceasar who I believe makes beautiful music and can capture the true essence of how I feel when I write a song. Recently, I completely tore my right achilles tendon on July 28, 2009 and have been recovering from this accident. Due to my accident, I have had to put my second album on hold for now until I have healed. I wanted you guys to know that I have put all of my heart and soul into compling this second album and want it to be the best one yet. This second album will show you how much I have grown - vocally, spiritually, and mentally. I do not have a time period as to how long this wait can be but I do promise that the wait will be well worth it. Thanks in advance for being patient as I continue to heal.

Okay, guys, I have been working on a new album tentatively titled "A Perfect Love Story". I am in the process of recording in the studio and should have the album completed before the summer of 2009. I want this album to be better than the first so selecting the songs have been a very tedious process. The same goes for recording the songs. I want everyone to relate to this album and I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Thanks for the continual support and love.

I will be preforming at the Red Sea on Thursday, April 26, 2007. It is directly across the street from Blueberry Hill on Delmar in University City. I will be performing 4 of my songs from my debut ablum "Just for you:". Recently, since everything has happened, I had contemplated not writing songs and singing ever again - THAT WAS FOOLISH!!!!
I am coming back and it will take awhile, but keep me in your prayers as I travel this road once again.

The journey begins once again.

My husband and I went back to New Orleans to see our home. It was unbelievable!!!! I could not believe what I was seeing. All of the tress and the grass was dead. It smelled awful and the house was a sight out of this world. Going back has added closure to my life. I feel that I now can move on with no regrets. In the up comping months I will be busy trying to get the production company up and running again so that I can press some more cds. To all those who have purchased my cd, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!! And for all those who want to purchase it - GO HEAD, YOU'LL ENJOY IT!!!! Thanks a million.

Well, I have settled down in St.Louis, Missouri with my family. Thank you all for your outpour of love, we really appreciate it. Thank for looking out.

Unfortunately, our home has suffered tremedous water damage and therefore we have nothing. I have been writing songs since I can remember. they were all about finding true love and getting hurt in the process. I felt that the songs on this album needed to be heard by the world because of the lyrical content. The process of making this album was long and tiring, but it was well worth the journey.
