Medical and Mental Health Accommodations
Students with diagnosed disabilities and/or medical conditions whose needs cannot be met through the standard room selection process or meal plan options may request housing and/or meal plan accommodations.
How to Request an Accommodation
To determine eligibility, students must provide current, comprehensive documentation of their disability or medical condition from a diagnosing physician or other qualified professional.

Student Accessibility Services and the Office of Residential Life will review and evaluate each request. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Renewing Housing Accommodations
Housing accommodations are not automatically renewed from one academic year to the next. Students may need to provide updated documentation describing their progress, current diagnosis, and continued need for an accommodation.
All accommodations are subject to review and room availability.
Accommodation Deadlines
Submit your request and supporting documentation by the applicable deadline for priority consideration. Requests received after the deadline will still be considered, but approval may depend on availability and the timing of the request.
Incoming Students
May 15 — Deadline for priority consideration for housing and meal plan accommodations.
Because the number of rooms suitable for accommodations is limited, incoming students are encouraged to submit their requests by this date. Requests received after May 15 will still be accepted, and SAS and ORL will work with students to address their documented needs as space allows.
